Job Purpose:
TFI is seeking a Material Handler to use a forklift and/or combi-lift to maintain production by distributing steel parts to various stations throughout our facility.
SHIFT DIFFERENTIALS: (Doesn’t include yearly performance raises)
Nights:
- After 6 Months = Additional $2/HR
- After 18 Months = Additional $2/HR
- After 30 Months = Additional $2/HR
Weekends:
- After 3 Months = Work 36 Hours, Get paid 40 Hours
- After 6 Months = Additional $2/HR
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Maintain inventory by identifying, labeling, and placing materials and supplies in stock or workstations
- Locate and verify materials and supplies as listed on production orders
- Mobilize material for fit up in rough positions for Fabricators/Welders
- Identify any material quality issues that could impact the fabrication process
- Complete daily maintenance inspection before operating equipment
- Maintain and wear all required personal protective safety equipment
Qualifications & Experience:
- Previous experience in welding, manufacturing, or other related fields preferred
- Familiarity with forklift, combi-lift, telehandler, or similar equipment preferred
- Must be able to successfully complete all post-offer and pre-employment contingencies
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship now or in the future
