We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to oversee projects from inception to completion, acting as the vital link between our internal operations and customer satisfaction.
Job Purpose:
As a Project Manager at TFI, you will be the cornerstone of our company, managing all aspects of our projects from estimation to delivery. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure that projects are executed on time, within scope, and to customer satisfaction.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Sales & Relationship Management:
- Partner with sales to secure projects and identify upsell opportunities.
- Act as the customer’s main point of contact, setting and managing expectations.
- Estimating:
- Develop realistic and profitable estimates.
- Conduct competitive analysis to guide pricing.
- Contract Review:
- Thoroughly review contract terms to align with TFI’s interests.
- Negotiate payment terms and secure down payments.
- Schedule Management:
- Create and manage project schedules.
- Identify and mitigate potential risks.
- Engineering & Releasing Overview:
- Facilitate kick-off meetings and ensure a smooth handoff to production teams.
- Procurement Overview:
- Oversee materials procurement and vendor management.
- Continuously evaluate suppliers.
- Production Support:
- Monitor internal teams to ensure project quality.
- Facilitate communication among production teams.
- Shipping & Packaging Support:
- Coordinate with shipping department to meet customer expectations.
- Ensure packaging meets industry standards.
- Accounting Review:
- Manage project budget and cash flow.
- Regularly review project profitability.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field preferred.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in project management preferred, ideally in manufacturing.
- Strong analytical, leadership, and communication skills required.
- Proficiency in project management software preferred.
